Who we are

Creed & Clay LLC ("Creed & Clay," "we," "us") is a leadership coaching and strategic communications consulting firm registered with the state of California. This policy explains what information we collect through creedandclay.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

For any questions about this policy, please contact privacy@creedandclay.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your first name, last name, email address, the service you selected if you chose one, and the content of your message. When you book a session through our scheduling provider, Simply.Coach, that provider collects the information needed to schedule it.

Information collected automatically. The hosting provider records standard server log information when a browser requests a page, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages visited.

Why we collect it

We use the information you provide to:

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

What we do not collect. We do not ask for and do not want financial account information, government identification numbers, or health information through this website. Please do not include such information in a contact form message.

Please also note: the contact form is not a secure or confidential channel. Do not use it to send confidential business information, personnel matters, or anything you would not want transmitted by ordinary email. If your inquiry involves sensitive circumstances, describe it generally and we will arrange a more appropriate way to talk.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not trade, rent, or otherwise transfer it to third parties for their own marketing.

We do use service providers who process information on our behalf and only under our instructions:

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid legal process, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

How long we keep it

We retain contact form submissions for 2 years unless the inquiry becomes a client relationship, in which case records are kept for the duration of that engagement and for 2 years afterward to meet professional and any tax obligations.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See below.

How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), which protects information in transit between your browser and our site. Form submissions are stored with our hosting provider, with access limited to Creed & Clay personnel who need it.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email notification of form submissions travels over ordinary email infrastructure, which is why we ask you not to send confidential information through the form.

Your choices and rights

Everyone. You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@creedandclay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

California residents. California law gives residents specific rights regarding personal information, which may include the right to know what is collected, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to request Do Not Track. Our website does not respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our website links to third-party services, including our scheduling provider. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to read them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
